IMVU has chosen the next Face of IMVU: SierraMyst!
As a seasoned model on IMVU already, she emcompasses strong modeling chops and shares stunning photos on the IMVU Feed and Instagram. We feel very lucky and honored to have her participating in the VU Model program! Curious about who SierraMyst is? We interviewed the latest Face of IMVU to find out ourselves!
IMVU: How long have you been a user on IMVU?
SierraMyst: I have been a member of the IMVU community for almost 12 years. I joined in November of 2006. Yeah, I’m a relic of the old days -laughs-.
IMVU: What do you like about IMVU? Why?
SierraMyst: I have always loved the ability to role play the fashion world and interior designing. I also enjoy the social aspects of IMVU as well. It’s really interesting the variety of people I have met over the years. I have learned much from so many.
IMVU: What’s your favorite thing to do on IMVU?
SierraMyst: Shop of course!!! -laughs- Actually, right now my favorite thing to do is being with my IMVU family, friends and hanging out with the Unicorn Squad, a group of fun loving individuals. -shout out to my Unicorns!!!-
IMVU: What do you wish to do more of on IMVU?
SierraMyst: I would like to help bring back drama-free fun IMVU had years ago. Shopping and doing artwork is great, but if the people aren’t having fun there is really no point in being here.
IMVU: What’s your greatest strength? Weakness?
SierraMyst: My strength is I know my way around the catalog -laughs- and I can help others who aren’t aware of shortcuts to getting unique looks they want. I love doing that. My weaknesses…. where do I start? Let’s talk about chocolate, sexy avatars, clothes….
IMVU: What was your favorite moment on IMVU that you can remember?
SierraMyst: My favorite moment was meeting my best friend almost 10 years ago. He came in half human and half cat. I was thinking…. oookaaaay, who or what is this?? He turned out to be one of the best human beings I have interacted with on this site. We are still good friends to this day on and off site.
IMVU: Your avatar has a unique and serious look. What specific products combine to define your avatar’s unique look?
SierraMyst: I use various developers for clothing but I love to use the face control made by Zephyr. It gives me the concentrated look I want. If you want quality looks you must use quality work. I credit Henna, Java, lDB, AmiraErros, Zephyr, Roy, MissMaya and CakesNXS as foundations of my personal style.
IMVU: Are there particular Creators you wear exclusively?
SierraMyst: I wear Java and lDB hairs, Henna skins (my own custom design) and AmiraErros does my makeup for my head. I wear MissMaya and Roy for my eyes. I prefer realistic looks and they are the best for eyes. My head is derived from Kloudust but made by AmiraErros. I prefer still avatars from Emerrald, Jate and Sinderella but I also wear some from Sibyla or create my own. I am very picky when it comes to choosing avatars, makeup and hairstyles for my outfits. Not every style looks good on everyone. I also prefer to wear 3D accessories from MissMaya, Tstone or items derived from Tstone. I do like some items from MissC but I am picky about what I wear from her. I love Baraq and Andzelica for statement jewelry or shoes.
IMVU: In your own words, what makes your avatar unique and/or special?
SierraMyst: How do you do this without sounding arrogant?? LOL. I believe my avatar is unique because she combines the best IMVU has to offer. From her hair down she is wearing quality products. The poses I choose fit the attitude of the moment. She can be fierce one day and nerdy the next. It isn’t just one thing I wear that makes her stand out, it is who she is that makes her stand out.
